In autofs, what does +auto.master do in /etc/auto.master?
I am reading some documentation on autofs, and I saw in one of the example here:
$ cat /etc/auto_master
# Master map for automounter
#
+auto_master
/net -hosts -nosuid,nobrowse
/home auto_home -nobrowse
/xfn -xfn
/share auto_share
$ cat /etc/auto_share
# share directory map for automounter
#
ws gumbo:/export/share/ws
The documentation do not explain line-by-line what each line here does.
What does +auto_master here mean? What is it doing?
