getting error cannot read property items of null in the POSTMAN response

Postman: I am getting error cannot read property items of null in the response. I am passing 2 parameters out of which one parameter works and other doesn't. Due to this script is stopped and not going to next request. How to handle this?
There may be times when one parameter may not work as the response is coming from a 3rd party

What research have you done? This seems like a pretty common request on the greater internet. Maybe show a Minimal, Complete, and Verifiable example so interested folks will be more inclined to answer if they have some context.
