Topics of combinatorics for undergraduates [closed]

I am an undergraduate student studying statistics. I have a keen interest in combinatorics which is one of my favorite part of mathematics since school days. Currently, I am applying for a summer research fellowship. But, I have no prior experience in this field except some problem solving tactics. Any suggestion of any open problems on enumerative combinatorics or anything like that which can be accessible for undergraduates, if shared here, would be very good.

Thanks in advance!

Please edit the question to limit it to a specific problem with enough detail to identify an adequate answer. Avoid asking multiple distinct questions at once. See the How to Ask page for help clarifying this question. If this question can be reworded to fit the rules in the help center, please edit the question.

  • This is an extended discussion, I am afraid whether this question would be closed or not.
