Upgrade photo quality after setting change in Google Photos
For a few years I used Google Photos as a backup photo storage. I had it set to High quality (free unlimited storage) Great visual quality at reduced file size
. I just upgraded to a 200GB paid plan and would like to use Google Photos as my main backup location. I have changed the settings to Original (196.5 GB storage left) Full resolution that counts against your quota
.
Since I still have many of the photos on my phone/computer I'd like to upgrade their quality to full resolution. Is there a way to accomplish this? When I try to manually upload the photos again, it recongizes that I already have them backed up, but it keeps the old, lower resolution copy.
