Using ActionListener with JComboBox to change page on selection

Edit: I know I posted it in wrong section :(

I already flagged it, no need to vote down...

My original idea was to make small FileManager for specific folders.

I added toolbar with some buttons that dont work yet except for "open file" button.

However I encountered another problem that I am yet to fix.

private static void display()
{
String iconPath = "C:\alta\eclipse\pseudo-1C\icons\";
String path = "C:\alta\eclipse\pseudo-1C";
PanelBrowser browser = new PanelBrowser(new File(path));

JFrame f = new JFrame("Pseudo-1C Manager");
f.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);

JToolBar toolbar = new JToolBar();
toolbar.setRollover(true);

toolbar.addSeparator();

ImageIcon RefreshIcon = new ImageIcon(iconPath+"refresh.png");
Image Rimage = RefreshIcon.getImage(); // transform it
Image refreshNewImg = Rimage.getScaledInstance(20, 20, java.awt.Image.SCALE_SMOOTH); // scale it the smooth way
RefreshIcon = new ImageIcon(refreshNewImg); // transform it back

JButton refresh = new JButton(RefreshIcon);
toolbar.add(refresh);

toolbar.addSeparator();

ImageIcon DirIcon = new ImageIcon(iconPath+"folder.png"); //icon folder is named "pseudo-1C icons"
Image Dimage = DirIcon.getImage(); // transform it
Image DirNewImg = Dimage.getScaledInstance(20, 20, java.awt.Image.SCALE_SMOOTH); // scale it the smooth way
DirIcon = new ImageIcon(DirNewImg); // transform it back

JButton folder = new JButton(DirIcon);
toolbar.add(folder);

toolbar.addSeparator();
toolbar.addSeparator();
toolbar.addSeparator();
toolbar.addSeparator();
toolbar.addSeparator();
toolbar.addSeparator();
toolbar.addSeparator();
toolbar.addSeparator();
toolbar.addSeparator();
toolbar.addSeparator();
toolbar.addSeparator();
toolbar.addSeparator();

String folders = new String {"A", "B", "C"};
JComboBox<String> folderList = new JComboBox<>(folders);
folderList.addActionListener( new ActionListener() {
@Override
public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) {
JComboBox cb = (JComboBox)e.getSource();
String foldername = (String)cb.getSelectedItem();
System.out.println("Folder "+foldername+" was chosen");

ChangeFolder(foldername);
}
} );
toolbar.add(folderList);

toolbar.setFloatable (false);
Container contentPane = f.getContentPane();
contentPane.add(toolbar, BorderLayout.NORTH);
f.add(new JScrollPane(browser)
{
@Override
public int getVerticalScrollBarPolicy()
{
return JScrollPane.VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR_NEVER;
}
});
f.pack();
f.setSize(4 * SIZE.width, SIZE.height);
f.setLocationRelativeTo(null);
f.setVisible(true);
}

protected static void ChangeFolder(String name) {
String returnfolder = name;
return;
}

Basically, I want to use JComboBox to switch the shown folder to the one of premade ones, yet I dont know how to do that. ActionListener responds to correct folder names, but I am not sure how to make it "refresh the page" for update.
I used this as base for my project:
https://stackoverflow.com/posts/15104660/revisions

I provided my last "fork" of code without broken parts, but with ones I got stuck with.
