How to append logs to a log file in scala using grizzled.slf4j

I have created log file but every time i restart my program the existing log file gets overwritten.How can i just keep the old logs and update the log file



Here is my properties file:



org.slf4j.simpleLogger.logFile= /opt/mymap.log
rg.slf4j.simpleLogger.cacheOutputStream = true

org.slf4j.simpleLogger.defaultLogLevel = trace
org.slf4j.simpleLogger.showDateTime = true
org.slf4j.simpleLogger.dateTimeFormat = yyyy'/'MM'/'dd' 'HH':'mm':'ss'-'S
org.slf4j.simpleLogger.showThreadName = true
org.slf4j.simpleLogger.showLogName = true
org.slf4j.simpleLogger.showShortLogName= false
