In my HTTP server object I have added listener for event clientError.
To test it I opened a TCP socket via TCP-Client - terminal and I send garbage data(invalid http method - not GET but PET for example). Of course the "clientError" listener is triggered and I get the error:
{
[Error: Parse Error]
bytesParsed: 0,
code: 'HPE_INVALID_METHOD',
rawPacket:
}
So far so good. But after multiple(11 probably) garbage data frames, I get warning:
(node:4284) MaxListenersExceededWarning: Possible EventEmitter memory leak detec
ted. 11 error listeners added. Use emitter.setMaxListeners() to increase limit
This is the code:
var express = require("express");
var app = express();
var server = app.listen(8080);
app.get("/", (req, res) => {
res.send("Hello Riko");
});
server.on("connection", function(socket) {
console.log("A new connection was made by a client.");
});
server.on("clientError", (err, socket) => {
console.log(err);
});
