Cannot find the object 'reportsProc', because it does not exist or you do not have permission

0

We created a procedure like this:

CREATE PROCEDURE [dbo].[reportsProc]
@IstGroup INT,
...
AS
BEGIN
SET NOCOUNT ON;

IF @IstGroup = 0
BEGIN
SELECT K.*
FROM V_xyz K
END
ELSE
BEGIN
SELECT K.*
FROM V_xyz2 K

END
END

GRANT EXECUTE ON [dbo].[reportsProc] TO [user_abz]

Note: V_xyz and V_xyz2 are Views.

If the user tries to execute the procedure, there is a SQL Server exception:

Cannot find the object 'reportsProc', because it does not exist or you do not have permission

We tried to grant execute rights on some referenced objects, but this did not work.

If we add User user_abz to database role db_owner it works. But we don't want the user to have too many rights.

If we add User user_abz to database role db_ddladmin, db_datareader or db_datawriter it does not work.

If we add User user_abz to database role db_securityadmin it works.

Which role/right do we have to configure to grant the user access to the procedure?

Thanks in advance.
