error : MBR size is greater than Bios one (16434495)

I have a dell Vostro 1440 notebook. It was running fine but once I install windows 7 at the boot time I got only a blinking cursor and when I press enter it displays a list of message then it boot to windows.
I have already updated the BIOS from dell website but problem remains same.
Please help.
